WELCOME
RE:CREATE is a recycling innovation lab in Brooklyn, NY committed to transforming plastic recycling into a clean, zero-waste, truly circular practice. We specialize in working with plastics that are often rejected by large-scale systems, such as small HDPE, PP, PLA 3D printer scraps, and other bioplastics.
SERVICES
POST-CONSUMER PLASTIC RECYCLING

Re:Create partners with businesses, schools, city agencies, and corporations to collect and process hard-to-recycle and “un-recyclable” plastics. Utilizing innovate, zero-waste, microplastic dust-free processes, we transform them into durable, functional products through truly circular, controlled-scale manufacturing.
CONSULTING
Re:Create offers circular manufacturing R&D, small batch material development and zero-waste prototyping that includes:

ABOUT
Re:Create was founded in Brooklyn, NY in April 2024. We began as Trash Club Brooklyn, a family-friendly cleanup and climate action group focused on NYC parks and shorelines without municipal recycling services.
Following the trail of plastic pollution led us into the world of DIY, controlled-scale recycling, developing new ways to capture and extract overlooked, “unrecyclable” plastics from the waste stream and transform them into useful, lasting materials, locally, transparently, and creatively.
Today, we partner with businesses and schools to provide specialty plastic recycling services, educational workshops and guidance in setting up community collection points for "unrecyclable" plastics. We continue to experiment with cleaner, waste-free, dust-controlled shredding and processing methods, and practicing high-reusability preparation methods for post-consumer PLA and other bioplastics.
Our focus is on environmentally conscious systems that ensure all post-consumer plastic is fully usable, designed not just to divert waste, but to create truly circular materials.
We are proud to serve as the home of the Precious Plastic Brooklyn Community Point.
